Final Draft - Descriptive Writing - My Mum

My Mum Lia

My mum has night, black, long, hair she has sparkling brown eyes. She is tall, she likes wearing her NBA and work clothes. Her favourite colour is blue she likes to buy shoes and long books to read . She likes a hug and a coffee and a huge kiss before she goes to work.

She never goes swimming. When I get hurt she gives me a hug and a kiss. She likes to work as a Nurse at the Kaitaia Hospital because she likes helping people. 

We go fishing mum takes me to the rugby ground we make food for the family. We do the grocery shopping and she cleans the house when everyone is away.

I got something to say MY  MUM IS THE BEST!!!

ANZAC Day

 We have ANZAC Day to honour the soldiers that died. The Dawn parade is at dawn because that's when the soldiers landed at Gallipoli. At the Dawn parade we say prayers and sing the NZ anthem say the ode  and listen to the Last post. sometimes we wear our  grandad or granmother's medals. and Veterans march down    the street wearing medal the war memorials they put their poppies when I hear the last post I get teary. last we forget
