The Great Reading Adventure

It’s our incredible class assembly. It took two weeks to practice. I was terrified  I saw a lot of cars, they filled the field. The crown went  so silent. I had butterflies they bombed in my belly. When I heard the music here comes the sun, I got up and went to the brick house. I  say my part. We walked down the aisle looking for Jesse aka the sun. We looked and looked and we made flax ropes and we caught the sun. It was cool when we were all good to sit down. I was so proud of myself.

We were learning about marine reserves aka protected beach.

We are destroying our beaches because there is too much rubbish in the ocean.

Kawa of Care Challenge

We are learning all about the 'Kawa of Care so we can manage our chromebooks. For example - do not keep your chromebook on the edge of a table.

Tractor Trek - Big Feelings

Tractor Trek? What so cool!!!! Last Friday we had a Tractor Trek. It's a group of people brought their tractors to our school field. There was a Massey Ferguson and a John Deere And a Hummer H1! but what we could only sit in it So So So fun!!! after that we went to The hall and a lady called cat talked to us about big feelings. But When she was little she lived on a farm but when they moved to Auckland she didn't get to see her dad and her mum had another bubba.Things changed she feet like she was rejected. She was very sad. Now she is older and she talks to kids about BIG FEELING And we got a mood cube.It shows you if you're mad,sad,happy and anxious.It's so cool! Now I can see if I am annoyed And when the tractors started it made me jump to the moon my heart went BOOM BOOM OMG AHHH!I thought it was a BOMB AHHH! I ran for my life and ran into the hall. ( the secret base ).
